Framed 12″x16″ canvas
As the old adage goes, “you catch more files with honey than with vinegar,” and Fidelco guide dogs agree. Their training has a solid foundation in positive reinforcement. In order to increase the frequency of desired skills, these skills are rewarded with a treat. This training philosophy is started with the young pups and continues through formal guide dog training until the guide dogs are placed with their blind handler. The four-week-old puppies and two-year old guide dog in training that contributed to this painting know this philosophy well.
