Walk – Run – Ride
Fidelco is excited to bring back the much-loved Walk this year while making it even more inclusive! The virtual format makes it possible to include people from across the country, and walking is not the only way to participate. No matter how you like to move – walking, running or jogging, riding a bicycle, motorcycle or horse – you can participate in this exciting event!
The Walk-Run-Ride kicks off Sunday, October 4, 2020. You’ll have the entire month to rack up as many miles as you can! Fun incentives will be offered for different fundraising categories!
The first 200 people to register will receive a free event-branded t-shirt to show off their participation!
There are multiple ways to register:
1. Start or join a team.
2. Designate yourself as a “Power Partner” team captain. (please see more information about this option below)
3. Register as an independent individual.
However you choose to register, you’ll be able to meet personal goals while raising money to ensure Fidelco’s mission continues! It’s a win-win!
What is a Power Partner? We’re looking for leaders who want to take on an extra challenge. We’ve created an easy to follow guide to “walk” you through it!
There are two levels of being a Power Partner:
Pup Captain: You’re someone who can gather 10 people to join your team and get them to raise $100 each. Then, you will ask each of your team members to bring 2 more people onto your team and they will guide those two people as they raise $100. Do you know 10 people who walk, jog or run, ride a bicycle, motorcycle or horse? They can all be on your team!
Working Dog Captain: You’re someone who can gather 20 people to join your team and get them to each raise $150. Then, you will ask each of your team members to bring 5 more people onto your team and they will guide those 5 people on raising $150. Do you know 20 people who walk, jog or run, ride a bicycle, motorcycle or horse? They can all be on your team. If they’re moving they are on your team!
